I hope I can get kosher food in jail...
I was driving home from dropping daughter off at school, she missed her bus cuz yours truly did not get up in time.
Suddenly, I saw a cop behind me and the siren...
It occurred to me that i was being pulled over.
I hung up my cellular and quickly stuffed it in my pocket.
I had the speaker phone on and the phone was kind of on my lap, so I couldnt imagine what he wanted.
Anyway, the cop approached the window, in that menacing way they have, that you know you're doomed.
Did you see that school bus with the stop sign out?
HUH? no! I say politely. and then explain that I was having a rough morning.
Well, its gonna get rougher, he tells me.
And then he wrote me out a ticket.
It seems from various conversations I have had that this is a MAJOR offense and I will be sharing a cell with some real BAD BOYS
5 points on my otherwise squeaky clean license
30 days in jail or community service
possible suspension of license
SO now I have to hire a LAWYER and spend lots of $$$ which I was gonna send to my kid's school in the form of tuition payments.

OY!!!! I feel so bad for you. I really do...BUT, being that you did in fact pass a stopped school bus, which you didn't see because you were distracted by the phone converstaion, I can't say that you don't deserve the ticket and the points. (Though, being that no kid(s) were harmed B"H, I don't think you should be sent to the slammer to share a cell with Bubba)

Third time you were pulled over this year: the amber light, the shoulder, and now this. We're seeing a pattern here.
A few weeks before the Nazis invaded Baranovitch. Reb Elchonon went to a very rich, but
very miserly Yeed and told him thatyou can have the Zchus HaTorah and help the Yeshiva,
because soon the Nazis will come and take everything. He gave Reb Elchonon a nice
donation. Sure enuf they came and the rest is history.
Before Purim, you posted how you resent everyone asking for Tzedoka, now instead you are
going to have to give a lot of money to the courts and an attorney.. The Aiberster runs
the world. Hope it all works out well for you..It should all be a Kaporra,,,

oh,yeah, I got 4 letters from various lawyers who want to protect me.
I will tell you a little secret. On Purim my husband was collecting for a friend of his - a choshuva talmid chacham who is having a lot of problems, financial and other.
He just told me that the amount he collected is exactly what the lawyer will cost. there must be some deep meaning there. like his tzedaka efforts protected us from something worse happening and we got "punished" financially rather than bodily, maybe?

yated! i have seen mega do the kasatzka dont get that excited.
& talk about collectors, there is a regular collector in lkwd who owns 4 hats he can go around 2 or 3 times in the same minyon changing from chasidush to litvish to bashed up hat, he also had a laminated card in hand to show that he was real, thats until i to a closer look & saw he had a kiddush levonah card
